Bracknell Forest Borough Council (BFBC) have been an early adopter and leader in the innovation of smart card technology within local government since 2000.

The e+ card is now used by over 50,000 residents to gain access to a number of council services.

BFBC were chosen by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) to lead the delivery of the National Smart Card Project (NSCP). Once complete, BFBC became custodians of the output of the National Project (SmartConnect) and have continued to promote and develop it.

This site has been developed by SmartCitizen Ltd as technical partner's to Bracknell Forest for the delivery of support services for the SmartConnect product.
